October’s in full swing and it's some solid shows are premiering right now so let’s talk about what’s creeping up on the calendar.
First up What I am watching:
A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai - Is a story about how Kamishiro Takeru goes from ordinary office guy to fantasy-world scavenger. It’s and easy-watch show so far with a slow story progression. If you are looking for action packed or fast paced show this will not be for you. But if you are looking for a little background comfort while you're doing something else then this is for you.
Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! - Lady Melphiera likes her cuisin' of monsters. And while she flirts through recipe tests with the Blood-Mad Duke this show is a kind of silly that is needed every week. It leans into some of the lighter side of thing but it certainly it looking like it will take on some more subtle darker tones. This is a love story that has some great potential.
May I Ask for One Final Thing? - Scarlet hits rock bottom at a ball by getting publicly dumped, and framed for a crime but then answers with pure violence. And honeslty this show has been great is it comedic while not being to over the top. If you want some light fun action this will be for you.
The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest - Alec Ygret gets tossed for being “only” support, but then finds an old comrade, and decides to head back into dungeon life. This series certain has intrigued me and honestly it is one that is turning out to be pretty good. But with only a couple of episodes out as of this writing I can only hope I get to see some karma this season.
My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s - This one takes on the "Class isekai". Our MC gets the assassin class with other really powerful skill and stats that noone else got not even the hero. The premis is a solid story and the animation has that slightly nostalgic feel and I am liking it. If you are looking for something that is an interesting watch then be sure to check it out.
So what’s coming soon?
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea - Rimuru and the Tempest crew get invited by Celestial Emperor Hermesia to her private resort island when a mysterious woman named Yura shows up. It’s an all-new stand-alone story. This one I am looking forward to as a fan of the series. I am sure it will be one that will be thoroughly enjoyed.

Behind the Mic: Next 2 podcast episode: will be about “Tsukimichi - Moonlight Fantasy.” Whic is a recommendation from Jeb. This is one that both Rick and I are looking forward to it as it is one that we really enjoyed.
