FAP-48 Gunslinger Girl - They are not tools they are people

Henrietta and arguably Angelica are the main focus of this series with it following through to a good but sad ending. The girls are cybernetically enhanced but not to an unrealistic view just enough to make it believable that that is a possibility. And even though there is a season 2 it is not pushed for at all and they let the story be the story ending it with a sucker punch to the feels.
