A coming-of-age story that follows Saki and her friends through key points in their lives leading up to one monumental moment. A battle for survival on both ends the "Humans" and "Monster Rats" The rulers and the slaves. All things lead up to a point where the monster rats finally take action against their oppressors and fight to be seen as equals.
